Corporate Legal PA - Leading City Law firm

Corporate Legal Secretary - leading international law firm (initial 9 month contract) - £39,000.

My client, an international law practice based in the heart of the City, are currently looking for a Legal PA to support a team of Fee Earners in the Corporate department, including a Partner who is Head of the Corporate Finance team.

The team advise quoted companies and investment banks on a broad range of corporate finance and capital markets matters, including flotations (AIM and Official List), secondary offerings, takeovers, de-mergers and strategic acquisitions, predominantly in the Digital Business, Consumer, Financials and Energy & Utilities sectors. The team also advises UK and international organisations on all aspects of buying and selling public and private companies and businesses.

The successful Legal Secretary / Legal PA will be joining a firm with one of the most widely respected names in the legal world.

The successful Legal Secretary / Legal PA will be supporting an allocation of a Partner and 3 Fee Earners of varying levels and therefore will ideally have at least 3-4 years experience working for a recognised law practice with at least some exposure to Corporate/Financial Services law whilst possessing the following attributes/experience:

- At least 5 years professional experience as a Senior Legal Secretary / Legal PA
- A secretarial qualification (ILEX, Pitmans, Quest, RSA or equivalent)
- Experience of using Microsoft Office packages in a professional capacity
- Experience of using digital dictation
- Experience of Billing
