The Role:

An exciting opportunity for a proactive Team Assistant to join a boutique market research agency based in the heart of London. The Nursery Research and Planning Ltd is a thriving independent brand and communications agency, seeking a full-time Team Assistant to support our rapidly growing business.

As our Team Assistant you will work alongside our Administration Manager to provide comprehensive office support for our researchers, as well as maintaining our modern, vibrant workspace.

Candidates will require a minimum of 1-2 year’s experience in administration and must have an enthusiastic, can-do attitude with a genuine desire to go above and beyond.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Acting as an integral part of the Operations Team.
  • Manning reception, meeting and greeting visitors, providing refreshments and acting as the main point of contact for all guests. 
  • Answering the phone, acting as the first port of call for all enquiries and fielding calls.
  • Calendar and diary management and scheduling company-wide meetings.
  • Managing meeting room bookings, ensuring all rooms are set up correctly, providing refreshments and organising catering as required.
  • Managing office admin such as sending outgoing post, distributing incoming post, handling deliveries, scanning documents, photocopying, printing, filing and other ad-hoc duties.
  • Cash handling and preparing fieldwork packs for researchers.
  • Monitoring and replenishing all office stock, including stationery, IT and grocery supplies.
  • Helping to maintain an organised and well-presented office environment. Daily duties include emptying the dishwasher, ensuring surface areas remain clear and other general tidying.
  • Assisting with the upkeep of the office, maintaining kitchen equipment, replacing light bulbs and faulty or damaged items.
  • Helping to ensure the smooth-running of company and client events.
  • Managing first aid, fire and health and safety requirements for the office. 
  • Maintaining the company contacts database.
  • Assisting with desk research.
  • Booking taxis and couriers and assisting with travel arrangements.
  • Managing relationships with external suppliers and contractors.  
  • Liaising with colleagues at our sister offices as required.  
  • Providing varied ad-hoc support to members of the team.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Well presented with excellent people skills.
  • 1-2 year’s administration experience.
  • Outstanding time management and organisation.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good IT skills – Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook.
