A world leading US Law Firm based in the City is looking to hire a new Transactional Database Specialist to support the M&A & Private Equity Knowledge team with managing the Corporate Transactions database, in particular for deals submitted by the International offices.  Responsibilities will include proactively designing and implementing systems and processes to track relevant completed International M&A deals and liaise with Attorneys to ensure details are submitted to the corporate transactions database, following up with Attorneys who have pending deal submissions and provide assistance with completing missing fields and submitting required documents as required, managing regular quality control checks of the data submitted to the system and make proactive suggestions regarding data entry improvements, responding to Attorney and client requests for customised reports using Excel or data visualisation tools to create reports, charts and graphs suitable for internal and external use, as appropriate, assisting with the customization of the Data Centre dashboard and make proactive suggestions regarding potential data visualisation enhancements. Other duties include providing the Knowledge Partner with regular reports relating to all aspects of the database, tracking and providing regular reports on requests for customised reports and proactively present data to the M&A team as part of regular reporting processes, working closely with the US Transactional Database Specialist and wider team on cross jurisdictional projects relating to Corporate Transactions Database, including data input, search & export and reporting functionality, and provide support with Corporate Transactions Database requests from US attorneys when required. Candidates must be educated to degree level or equivalent, experience working in a similar role within a professional services organisation, preferably within a law firm.  Candidates must have previous experience in reporting and database management, with strong Microsoft Office and data analytical tool experience.
