Team Assistant - London Bridge

£25,000 to £30,000 DOE, plus discretionary bonus and a fantastic suite of additional benefits.

 

This existing opportunity has arisen for a bright, ambitious and articulate Team Assistant to join an exciting alternative investment firm.  This dynamic and entrepreneurial team are looking for someone who is highly motivated and enthusiastic, with a positive attitude and “roll your sleeves up” approach.

Personality fit is key for this friendly and supportive team, who are based in stunning offices in close proximity to London Bridge Station.

A real long term career opportunity, this role would suit an individual who is hard working, ambitious, eager to learn and keen to take on more responsibilities.

Role 

Working in an interesting and fast paced environment, the Team Assistant will provide professional administrative support to an extremely busy team.

Reporting to the Head of Operations, the responsibilities of this wide and varied role will include, but are not limited to:

  • International travel planning
  • Events management
  • Managing diaries and organising internal and external meetings
  • Production of pitchbooks and marketing materials
  • Invoice management and support to the Finance team
  • Coordination of team expenses, ensuring finance submission deadlines are met
  • Supporting the legal team with document collation and signing
  • Maintaining and purchasing office supplies and stationery
  • Maintenance of accurate contact database

Key skills and qualities

The ideal candidate should be educated to a minimum A level standard and have worked in a relevant administration or team assistant role for at least 2 years.

Flexible, hardworking, highly organised and dedicated, a team player who will thrive in a varied role with multiple priorities.  This role will suit a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual, with exceptional attention to detail and a willingness to learn.

Confident and professional, with a great sense of team spirit.  A co-operative and positive nature, a team player who can work both with others and be able to work unsupervised.

Driven to succeed and willingness to take on additional tasks with a “roll your sleeves up” approach.

Honest and trustworthy, with a high level of common sense.

Ability to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels, both internally and with external customers, to build rapport and to influence desired outcomes.

Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
