Our client is a leading technology firm based in Paddington. They offer a great opportunity for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join their HR and Payroll team. You will be working alongside an experienced Payroll Administrator.
Main responsibilities of the Payroll Administrator will include:
•Calculating and processing all statutory payments and entitlements
•Management of payslips and other documentations such as P45, P11D & P60
•Ensuring compliance with the taxation of employee benefits
•Providing advice on payroll matters to employees
•Liaising with and making returns to external bodies such as HMRC, DWP etc.
•Working with the HR Shared Services Manager to improve current processes
•Plan, identify and highlight any payroll needs/ issues
•Providing a high level of customer service to all internal customers
The ideal Payroll Administrator will have:
•An ability to perform manual payroll calculations
•Experience of working in a Payroll position using computerised payroll software
•Experience of manually calculating statutory payments
•Experience of manually checking Tax and NI contributions
•A working knowledge of applications such as Word and Excel with experience using spreadsheets and databases including V Look-Ups and Pivot tables
•Understanding of on-going legislative changes which affect payroll
•Experience of preparing monthly payroll journals
•Ability to meet strict deadlines
