Part-Time Tax Admin Assistant
The role is a part-time non-client-facing role to support the Tax Manager, based in our clients London City office. The organisation is a provider to private client tax services to a variety of individuals.
The Tax Admin Assistant will undertake a variety of administrative duties to assist the Tax Manager who will then be able to concentrate on the technical work and growing the business.
• Commencing late April 2019 (possibly earlier depending on circumstances)
- To work Tuesdays and Thursdays, hours 9.00am to 5.00pm (preferred)
- Or to work Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, hours 12.30pm to 5.00pm
Job Description:
- Scanning and then profiling the scanned documents to File site - Document Management System
- Photocopying
- Printing/collating Tax Returns
- Preparing covering letters (standard letters)
- Labelling Envelopes and taking to Post Room
- Other ad hoc admin duties, such as but not limited to, printing, updating supply of address labels, general correspondence, stuffing envelopes, audio typing, data entry
- Mail Merges
- Database Maintenance
- Preparing spreadsheets
- Running Errands
- Taking outgoing post to Post Room at the end of the day
Skills:
- Good computer skills
- MS Office Suite, especially Word/Excel (training offered, if required)
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Ability to multitask
- Flexibility and ability to prioritise
- Generally helpful attitude and willingness to “muck in”
- Ability to take instructions and self-manage your tasks
- Happy to work on repetitive tasks
