Our client is a property management company based in West London. They currently manage over 300 residential, retail, restaurant and office properties around South West London. These include forthcoming redevelopment and conservation projects as well as properties targeted for long term income and investment growth.
A position has arisen for a Receptionist to join the team. This person will be responsible for the following;
Ensure reception is professionally manned at all times during working hours
Coordinate and plan reception cover to ensure high standards are maintained in absence; deliver reception training to relevant colleagues
Welcome visitors; ensure they are made to feel comfortable and looked after
Answer calls swiftly in a clear, confident, friendly manner and direct calls and messages to the appropriate person
Set-up new users and answer any telephone system related question
Awareness of the local area; able to recommend local hotels, restaurants, shops, and advise of nearest banks, post offices etc.
Ensure reception and the surrounding areas are kept tidy and presentable
Organise and distribute incoming and outgoing post and packages
Order, log and coordinate all couriers and taxis as required
Log supplier invoices into a database
Support the wider team with general administration overflow (as long as it does not impact main duties)- Keep the reception area free from obstruction and risk
Key Skills/Experience Required;
- Confident
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with good use of English language both verbal and written
- Ability to demonstrate excellent customer care and key contact recognition
- Presentable and friendly
- Good knowledge of MS Office; Outlook, Word and Excel
