Junior Bookkeeper

RealRec are looking for a Junior Bookkeeper to join an independent firm of Chartered Accountants, based in the heart of London.

This is a fantastic role for a highly organised, well-spoken and ambitious candidate looking for an engaging role within the financial sector. We are looking for someone who has aspirations of growing with the business and who will be integral to the success of this company.

Responsibilities:

* Bookkeeping duties for clients,
* Maintaining the sales, purchase and general ledgers for clients
* Maintain a full and accurate audit trail by filing and referencing documents in a timely manner
* Bank reconciliations on a weekly basis
* Preparation of monthly VAT returns (with assistance)
* Provide expertise and knowledge of dealing with HMRC, VAT and UK corporate tax systems
* Any other finance duties as directed & required

Our client are offering an excellent salary package circa £18-20k depending on experience + a generous commission structure and a discretionary bonus. We would consider more for the right person.
