AV Technician

This is a fantastic time to be joining this organisation as they have just moved to brand new offices and are expanding their team for an additional AV Technician.  You will work in a brilliant team whereby you will learn and develop in this role:

You will be a real team player, with a flexible and professional attitude. Your duties will consist of:

• Ensuring that meeting rooms are set up accurately and within a timely manner, ensuring that all equipment is working correctly as per the client’s needs.
• Ensure any movement of equipment between floors is handled correctly.
• Ensure that all portable equipment is stored correctly.
• Attending first line problems with any equipment such as Webexs, Vidcons, Telepresence and addressing issues.
• Reacting quickly and promptly to any issues.
• Ensuring that all rooms are tidy at all times.
• Ensuring that all agreements are adhered to.
• Ensuring that all clients are greeted in a professional and courteous manner.
• Ensure that the H&S policy is understood and adhered to.
• Move furniture as and when required.
• Undertake any special projects.

The ideal candidate:

• You will have previous experience of working within a large global organisation with at least 20+ meeting rooms.
• Good knowledge of AV equipment.
• Checking calculations for set up of rooms and responding to emails.
• Able to build up good relationships at all levels.
• Excellent team player.
• Able to work well to deadlines and keep calm at all times.
• Willing to take ownership of duties and responsibilities.
• High attention to detail and able to work in a fast paced environment.
• Enthusiastic with a good sense of humour.
• Helpful and willingness.
• Able to handle manual lifting.
• There is the opportunity of over-time as well in this position.
