Executive Assistant to Chairman and Chief Executive
near Bank Station, London
£30,000 - £32,000
Historic England is the public body that champions and protects England`s historic environment for generations to come.
This is a unique and exciting opportunity to work with the leaders of one of the country’s most interesting and important public bodies. As Executive Assistant to the Chairman and Chief Executive (EA) you will provide a comprehensive high-level support service, ensuring the smooth running of the private office for the benefit of the Chairman and Chief Executive and the organisation as a whole.
- You will ensure that every experience associated with the office is highly professional and positively reflects our values and behaviours.
- Providing high level support, you will ensure all correspondence and communication from the office is of the highest standard.
- You will ensure that your Principals are organised, briefed and able to make the most effective use of their time.
- Engaging with a broad range of staff, you will represent the Chairman and Chief Executive and their interests and priorities with internal colleagues and external stakeholders.
To be successful in this role:
- You will have previously supported a Board-level senior manager with the full remit of diary, briefing and inbox management responsibilities.
- With excellent organisation and planning skills, and a proven ability to work effectively under pressure, manage conflicting demands and multiple tasks, you will also be highly motivated and proactive.
- Demonstrating an adaptable and flexible approach to work, you will communicate articulately and effectively and have a natural ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
