Permanent Job for a Legal Secretary with Commercial Disputes and Commercial Litigation Experience in Ipswich

Your new company
A busy and established law firm working with clients of all sizes based in Ipswich are looking for a new member of staff to join their commercial team. This team prides itself on the service that it provides, as well as the friendly and welcoming culture of the office. You will be supported with induction training and will be delegated duties and responsibilities so that you can grow your career.

Your new role
You will be working as a Legal Secretary supporting the commercial disputes resolution department on a full time basis. As part of the role you will be assisting the fee earners by offloading administrative duties and providing full secretarial support, maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism. You will be working full time, monday to friday, for the hours of: 08:30-17:30. The duties include audio typing, drafting legal documents, taking phone calls and handling email correspondence. This is a very exciting role for an experienced candidate, or candidate who is qualified in law with a good understanding of commercial litigation.

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Legal Secretary and covering commercial legal areas, particularly commercial property, with strong IT and typing skills, as well as the ability to organise a busy workload. This role will suit someone with excellent communication skills who is a team player with a positive and flexible can do attitude. Ideally you will already have a minimum of 1 year working in this field so you can hit the ground running.
