Data Protection Officer - Private Banking
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for a Data Protection Officer within a well respected Private Bank located in Central London. This is a permanent position.

What will the role include?
The role of the Data Protection Officer is to provide a privacy programme overseeing ongoing activities related to the implementation adherence and maintenance of policies and procedures.
In addition:
- Advising on obligations around data protections, policies and procedures.
- Managing and responding to client enquiries.
- Monitoring compliance.
- Review and advise of data privacy impact assessments (DPIA).
- Reporting to and engaging the group DPO.
- Resolving data breaches and management of notifications.
- Act as Data Privacy SME.
- Work closely with other business functions (HR, Compliance, Front Office, Risk, Operations, Legal etc.).
- Senior stakeholder engagement.
About You
- Experience within Banking or fianancial services advantageous.
- Proven practical experience in privacy essential.
- Previous experience within a similar position essential.
- You will have an exceptional understanding of data protection regulations including GDPR
- Ability to handle confidential information.
- Competency with ethical conduct and change agent.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with colleagues and Clients.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Smart and professional personal presentation.
- Good time management and organisational skills.
- Competent IT skills will be required.
