PA/Office Manager

Based in the Harrow, Middlesex area, our client is a high profile medical research charity with a vision to be recognised as a leading biomedical research and service organisation. This amazing small charity seeks to radically improve outcomes and maximise benefits for patients in the UK.

They are looking for an experienced PA and Office Manager to complement their small, dedicated and passionate team. Training and support will be provided in respect of the necessary knowledge required to work in a research and development charitable business and the compliance aspects associated with running an animal facility with theatres and laboratories.

Main accountabilities: The post holder will be responsible for:

  • Acting as a PA to the CEO (who works 3 days pw)
  • Secretarial services to the Board and provision of support to the Chair and Trustees of the Board
  • Managing general administrative services in the office, including reception
  • HR administration under the guidance of the CEO or HR consultant
  • Support the development of IT to meet business needs under the guidance of the senior team and IT provider
  • Maintain Home office administration and H&S administration

Requirements:

  • Experienced PA, used to managing diaries and working across and with a team
  • Good computer literacy, managing databases, preparing presentations and maintaining records
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
  • Experienced minute taker
  • Self starter and self sufficient
