Trading Team Assistant

Our client, a well-established Global Asset Management and Research firm based in the West End are looking for a committed Trading Team Assistant to support two Trading Desks.  The role will be supporting the European Cash and European Electronic Trading Desks, consisting of 21 traders based in London and three based outside of London.

The team are looking for an energetic, confident and enthusiastic Team Assistant to have a range of responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Organisation, maintenance and control of diary for individuals and running of two team calendars
• Requesting holiday for all Traders and ensuring there are no clashes
• Submitting expenses
• Upkeep of specific trading documents including lists of firm’s clients and brokers
• Opening and re-assessing broker accounts
• Working on our CRM systems, editing, updating and adding contacts
• Sourcing venues for off sites, trading events or drinks
• Booking international travel and organising travel schedules/itineraries
• Ad hoc onsite conference support if requested by the European Corporate Marketing Team
• Perform general s ecretarial duties such as copying, faxing and a monthly stationery order
• Overflow EA work to the Head of International Trading

Requirements

• Previous experience in organising changeable schedules
• Experience of assisting multiple people, all with different demands
• Good Excel and MS Office knowledge is essential
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills – attention to detail is a must!
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment
• Previous relevant experience of working for a team within a fast paced environment ideally in the financial services industry
