Exciting Architecture firm is looking for an a Business Administrator for their Planning team

Your new company
This company is a leading architecture, planning and design firm based in London, they are looking for a Business Assistant to pick up all the administration duties within the Planning Team.

Your new role

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the planning team
  • Assist with compiling documentation for digital planning application submissions
  • Work closely with the Management Team and carry out their instructions
  • Photocopy and file appropriate documents
  • Input and update information/data on our document management system
  • Interact with clients either on the phone or in person
  • Make travel arrangements for employees
  • Support the wider admin team and provide occasional reception cover
  • Preparing documents by printing, copying, and binding
  • Scheduling appointments and events
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite essential
  • Support the marketing manager with ad hoc marketing tasks for the planning team
  • Assist in planning and arranging events
  • Assist with updates to the company website
  • Monitoring and filing new images for projects
  • Collating marketing and tender documents for the team
  • Collate awards submissions with marketing manager and planning team
  • Coordinating events and bookings
  • Working knowledge of InDesign and Photoshop essential
  • Coordinating the payment of planning application fees (online and by phone)
  • Filing remittances and liaising with the Finance Director
  • Coordinating the issuing of invoices for the management team
  • Debt management and chasing unpaid invoices
  • Assist Company Directors and the Finance Director


What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be switched on, experience in an administration role previously. Ideally you will have experience with brief experience within marketing and finance. You will need to be able to go into the role and hit the ground running. Previous experience as working within a team and independently is desirable.
