Account Manager for a leading Global software company

£11.00 per hour
A brilliant Global Technology firm, who are changing the market with integrated software for some large international associations. My client are engineering specialist with over 25 years’ experience with making products smarter and faster, reduce costs, and to be more sustainable and competitive. With more than 220 customers and 12 offices worldwide, they are now seeking an experienced Account Manager to join the team, on a temp to perm basis.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
The successful candidate would report directly to the Client Services Manager and work within a small but dedicated team of Account Managers. You will be responsible for a portfolio of clients ranging across different sectors including the Arts, Travel, Charities, Retail, Financial and Exhibition & Events. The role can be very demanding and requires effective time management.

Typical duties include:
- Answering calls
- Research each individual client to have a full understanding of their business and would be targeted to identify and grow areas where there is the opportunity to up-sell and add value to the client.
- Managing from inception to completion.
- Liaising with the relevant departments, departmental managers and third-party suppliers where applicable to ensure each mailing is completed to our high standard and dispatched on time and within budget.
- Excellent telephone manner
- Demonstrable communication both written and oral
- Time management and ability to multi-task
- A minimum of 12 months client services experience, with experience in the digital print and or direct mail sector
- Sales experience and customer management
- Knowledge of postal services and DSA providers
- Knowledge of data driven communication channels
