Team Assistant
Our client is looking for a competent and enthusiastic Team Assistant to support a National Safeguarding team within in a highly established non-profit institution. This is a full time role on an on-going temporary basis, paying £15 p/h. This is chance to get involved with an exciting and well-established organisation with global importance within the non-profit sector.
Who will you be working for?
Our client is an established non-profit organisation with over 85 million members in over 165 countries. Located in the wonderfully vibrant city of Westminster, this role will be based in an office within a palace of significant historical and global provenance. Within the team you will be supporting the National Safeguarding team and conversing with a number of key internal and external stakeholders.
What will you be doing?
This is a varied role with various administrational responsibilities in order to support the National Safeguarding team within the organisation. The main duties of the role will include:
- To manage financial processes including invoices, expenses and payments to a range of providers
- Planning and coordinating national events and conferences which are led by the National Safeguarding Team
- To lead on the production, formatting and publication of National policy in liaison with the Safeguarding Policy Manager
- Organising key meetings, and ensuring that the minutes are taken in the meeting accurately.
About you
Our client is looking for a confident and enthusiastic professional who will be passionate towards contributing to the success of the establishment. The candidate must have:
- Excellent IT and keyboard skills
- Excellent written and communication skills
- The ability to take accurate minutes in meetings
- The ability to organise diaries meetings and events
The following experience is required:
- Experience of office management
- Experience of dealing with enquiries from members of the public
- Experience of organising meetings and minute taking
Additionally, previous experience working within local authorities, NHS or educational institutions is desirable.
