Marketing and Communications Manager for a high-end consultancy

An award-winning creative company, which is now 8 years old, has gone through significant growth over the last few years. It is now seeking a Marketing and Communications Manager to help build their business and fuel continued growth.

Key duties will include:

• Help develop current activity into a coherent strategy which reflects the areas that we most want to promote
• Ensure that the client gets maximum PR out of all of their current activity (Projects and client commissioned work)
• Creating newsworthy and relevant content for tweeting, generating engaging copy for use across web, social and email
• Managing social media platforms to build reach and impact
• Organising events
• Helping to socialise insight amongst clients and prospects, including developing a programme of conference speakers etc.,
• Building media contacts
• Supporting new business activity, and ensuring that all materials (data base, creds, case studies, etc) are easy to access and up to date
• Managing award entries and deliver any marketing collateral including social media, events and mailers.

Experience and skills required:

• The successful candidate will come from an agency background - they might be from advertising, communications.
• B2B marketing experience
• Events management
• Marketing along with use of web-based content management systems and proven ability to manage a project from start to finish.
• You will demonstrate a hands-on approach, a sense of urgency and will be confident and intellectually curious, with a good understanding of successful client management and business development.
• A strong communicator - comfortable expressing yourself in writing or in person, formally or informally. High energy, you will thrive on networking and likely to have a well-developed address book.
