Hurst Media Company are a contract publisher and media agency based in the heart of North London.

We are currently seeking an experienced, well organised, proactive office manager to join our team.

As an office manager, you will be responsible for organising all of the administrative activities that facilitate the smooth running of an office. This includes the organising of people, information and other resources. You must make sure that office equipment is maintained, relevant records are kept up to date and that all administration processes work effectively. Experiencing using a CRM system is vital in this role.

As Office Manager, you will need to serve as the point of contact for duties including:

  • Maintenance
  • Mailing
  • Supplies
  • Equipment
  • Bills
  • Schedule meetings and appointments
  • Organise the office layout and order stationery and equipment
  • Maintain the office condition and arrange necessary repairs
  • Partner with HR to update and maintain office policies as necessary
  • Organise office operations and procedures
  • Coordinate with IT department on all office equipment
  • Ensure that all items are invoiced and paid on time
  • Manage contract and price negotiations with office vendors, service providers and office lease
  • Manage office budget, ensure accurate and timely reporting
  • Provide general support to visitors
  • Assist in the process for new hires
  • Address employee’s queries regarding office management issues (e.g. stationery, hardware and travel arrangements)
  • Liaise with facility management vendors, including cleaning, catering and security services
  • Plan in-house or off-site activities, such as parties, celebrations and conferences
  • Assist with accounts

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience within a similar role
  • Experience with CRM systems
  • Experience within the media industry would be ideal
  • Ability to work professionally in a team environment
  • Basic IT skills required
