Accountant - Private Family Office - Mayfair

This role is to oversee the running of the finances and assist with the businesses and investments on behalf of an ultra-high net worth Individual. This Individual is looking for an entrepreneurial Chartered Accountant with a confident and outgoing personality to be his "right hand" with all things financial, great opportunity to get really involved with his global businesses. The Private Office is based in Mayfair, small team.

Experience working in a similar role would be ideal. 

Responsibilities :

• Responsible for overseeing day-to-day control of the finance function including the production of the monthly management accounts and supporting commentary
• Responsible for overseeing the preparation of statutory accounts and liaising with external accountants

•        Implementation of systems and processes

•        Production of management accounts and financial reports

•        Involved in strategic planning including budgeting and forecast

•        Dealing with all areas of VAT and tax compliance

•        Liaising with HMRC

•        Processing payroll for the company

•        Manage complex banking relationships

Personal Specification:

•        ACCA, ACA, CIMA qualified Accountant

•        At least 8 years’ experience in similar roles

•        Experience dealing with HMRC and general tax queries

Salary £80,000 - £90,000
