Team Administrator 

London, Clerkenwell

Full time, 1 Year Fixed Term Cover

 

We are currently looking for a Team Administrator to assist with the day to day administration of BPSS checks and to help manage the security passes for both employees and contractors.

You will work in our small but busy Human Resources team and be responsible for the following duties:

  • Be the point of contact for staff and contractors for security enquiries.
  • Requesting and checking referencing documentation in line with BPSS.
  • Provide support for Basic (BPSS) for staff and contractor applications.
  • Ensure information for the security spreadsheet is kept accurate and up to date for auditing.
  • Help maintain and monitor the HR administration systems both on paper and electronically to ensure the HR database and other platforms are up to date and accurate. 
  • Assist the HR team with the recruitment activities and offers for the parliamentary projects.
  • Other ad-hoc HR administration may be required to support the successful running of the team.

About you

The successful candidate will have the following essential skills and experience required for the role:

  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail with the ability to prioritise workload and deliver to tight timescales.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word together with good keyboard skills.
  • Adaptability and a keenness to learn.
  • A good team player, capable of working in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining accuracy and quality.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
  • Relevant experience within a similar role/ administration office environment would be desirable but not essential.
