Executive Assistant / Studio Co-ordinator
1 Year Fixed Term Cover (Maternity Cover)
We have an opportunity within BDP’s London Studio, supporting our directors and team of around 60 lively and very busy building services engineers, acousticians and lighting designers in our Environmental Design Group.
The priority for this EA / Studio Co-ordinator role is to provide designated directors and their teams with a smooth and efficient service in support of their business activities.
You will act as a pivotal point of contact within the team; demonstrating diplomatic competence as well as the ability to bring a sense of order by means of co-ordinating the group by managing diaries, arranging travel, organising client and team events and generally assisting and keeping them organised.
You will also be responsible for assisting and helping manage and expand their portfolio of national and international projects.
In addition, working closely with studio directors and BDP London’s wider marketing team you will maintain databases of people and projects to make sure that the most relevant experience can be cited in bids. You will also assist in the preparation of high quality submissions when required, as well as project reports and presentations often working to tight deadlines.
You will be very organised, unflappable, assertive yet diplomatic and flexible with strong interpersonal skills. You will have an excellent standard of written and spoken English and a ‘can do’ attitude and have good attention to detail.
You will be proficient with Microsoft Office and basic knowledge of Adobe InDesign packages and have a flair for producing attractive documents.
Previous experience in a design led practice would be preferred but not essential.
