A boutique Financial Services client with 2 other offices globally are looking for a qualified Company Secretary with their ICSA Professional qualifications, to help set up the new UK office.
You will be responsible for the setup and onboarding of client structures – including due diligence and KYC. The Company Secretary/Compliance Manager will need to supervise a team of administrators, and participate in board and shareholders meetings, to advice on best practice. They will be opening bank accounts, making payments, and being the signatory on these accounts. They will assist with company secretarial matters related to the UK arm of the company, and will need to be up to date with changes in legislation, taking the relevant action on behalf of clients and internally. There will be biannual travel to the other two offices.
The candidate will need to develop strong relationships with all client and associated parties, as they will be the main liaison. They will be able to work autonomously, and will have solid experience in a similar role. They will ideally have ICSA Professional or a Law Degree, and will have worked in a regulated and unregulated structures
The salary is between £50-70k (dependant on experience) with a generous bonus, and shares.
