Join this leading global law firm where your strong PA and technical skills will be highly valued, working in this fast-paced team. Reporting into the Practice Manager you must be able to display the ability to build strong relationships, especially with Stakeholders working in this Business Services department. You will need to be proactive and have the desire and skills to manage projects and daily tasks, offering a seamless support to the fee earners, alongside diary management, conference call arrangements, international travel and itineraries through to document management. The ideal candidate will have experience gained within either Professional Services or Legal arenas and will be seeking a fresh challenge.

As a Legal PA, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering a high quality and professional service to the team of Managers
  • Complex diary management, scheduling ever-changing diaries, managing and resolving conflicts on a daily basis, meetings, conference calls, lunches
  • Accurate and regular maintenance of filing systems, e-filing, and archiving and retrieval of files from store and opening new matter files
  • Enquiries, resolving or escalating (or identifying alternative contacts) as appropriate
  • Demonstrate strong organisational skills, regularly act on own initiative, highlighting issues and suggesting possible solutions

Personal Competencies:

​You will need to be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, good commercial awareness, business acumen and be one step ahead of the game in this diverse, stimulating and responsible role, taking ownership of decisions and delivering a high-quality service. You will also have:

  • Previous PA experience of working in a fast-paced environment within Legal or Professional Services
  • Strong organisational skills, ability to prioritise conflicting workloads and be able to work as part of a team
  • Advanced MS Office knowledge and minimum typing speeds of 60-65wpm
