My client - a leading and well respected City law firm are looking for a Paralegal/Legal Secretary to join their prestigious Corporate/Commercial Department.

Paralegal/Legal Secretary

You will be providing legal and administrative support to lawyers in the Corporate/Commercial team, together with secretarial support for a minimum of four fee earners. You will also be one of a team of people who organises travel arrangements for fee earners in the firm.

You must have previous secretarial experience - be it managing a diary or arranging travel for Partners.

Paralegal/Legal Secretary

Some of the duties involved will include:

  • Drafting legal documents
  • Legal research
  • Preparing reports
  • Collation and completion of documentation bibles
  • Audio typing from digital dictation
  • Document Production
  • Billing

The successful candidate will have the following experience/skills:

  • Strong academic qualifications (A levels 2:1 degree) and ideally have completed the LPC
  • Some basic secretarial experience
  • Prepared to undertake secretarial work
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Ability to undertake legal research
