My client, a well established distribution company in Watford is recruiting for a business development specialist to join their account management team.

Your new role
The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Generating business with new and existing customers
• Making outbound calls to warm customers to identify decision makers and build relationships
• Work towards individual and company sales targets
• Building product knowledge
• Use the CRM system to keep customer details upto date
• Offering additional products or special offers to enhance the service to customers
• Meeting and exceeding KPI's - calls, lead generation and sales!

• To be able to influence, persuade and negotiate effectively
• Excellent people skills, to be able to communicate clearly and concisely
• Good listening skills
• Good interpersonal skills and "can do" attitude
• Self-motivated
• Passion for sales and exceeding targets
• Attention to detail
