Executive Assistant - Leading International Law Firm

Recruiting for a leading international law practice who are currently seeking a First class Executive Assistant to join them on a permanent basis. The role will provide executive level support to very senior individuals within the firm, whilst also providing occasional support to other members of the board on a day-to-day basis.

This role is highly confidential in nature due to the seniority of this position, but a brief insight into what the successful Executive Assistant can expect in this position is as follows:

- Full management of the allocated Partner;s day including comprehensive prioritisation, identification of potential issues, providing solutions and maintaining full control of the allocated Partner's diary and inbox.

- Extensive client contact and acting as a gatekeeper to both internal and external clients, taking full responsibility for any issues, assessing the clients needs and directing action from the allocated Partner where necessary.

- Full management of schedules and itineraries including the arranging of both complex national and international travel. The anticipation of additional requirements and contingency planning in order to ensure the smooth running of all journeys taken by the allocated Partner.

- The drafting of client correspondence on behalf of the allocated Partner, the proofing of reports, presentations and complex documents in order to ensure a high level of attention to detail is shown consistently on all fronts.

Interpersonal and Professional skills & attributes:

- Experience as an EA gained within the Legal sector
- Excellent communication skills, with an ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail;
- Natural ability to build strong rapport with both clients and staff members at all levels;
- An altruistic attitude to tasks, accompanied with a calm demeanor and measured delivery
- The ability to work proactively when identifying and finding solutions to problems
- A desire to continue to develop their existing skill set and broaden existing experience
- Degree educated - (Desirable not essential)
