Desktop Support Technician

We are recruiting for an international travel organisation that are searching for an experienced helpdesk professional. You will be supporting 200 employees on the ground in Oxford and also support to a global team of 3000 users.

Responsibilities:

• Provide premier customer service focusing on the end user at all times,
• Support Windows 10, Mac OS X, iPads and mobile phones including iPhones and Android phones,
• Support enterprise level video conferencing including Cisco and Blue Jeans technology,
• Support exchange email for various mail clients including MS Outlook for Windows and OS X, Microsoft Outlook Web App, Mac Email and Thunderbird,
• Configure and support network printers,
• Consistently update the ticketing system,
• Documentation of all work effort,
• Proactively address new and emerging problems.

Knowledge required:

• Experience supporting a Call Center environment and technology,
• Working knowledge with Microsoft SCCM and/or JAMF's Casper Suite,
• Working knowledge of Powershell/Python/Bash/Other scripting technologies,
• Working knowledge of Data Analytical skills, Excel, pivot, SQL,
• Experience supporting both Windows and Apple computers as well as mobile devices,
• The ability to remain calm in stressful situations and adapt quickly to change,
• Exceptional time management capability to handle multiple projects and priorities in a deadline-driven environment,
• The ability to work independently and with limited supervision while maintaining excellent communication with fellow team members.

Location: Oxford

Hours: 37 hours a week : 9am-5:30pm or 8:30am-5pm + every 6 weeks you will have an oncall shift over the weekend (this is remote and a phone/pager supplied)
