Online Trading Merchandiser
LMA Recruitment Ltd are working in partnership with a very successful international fashion company who require an Online Trading Merchandiser to join their digital team.
The primary responsibilities of this role are:
* Responsibility for the 'Salesforce' platform for all Outlet EMEA websites ensuring accurate, high quality trading and merchandising at all times
* Ensure products and categories are trading as effectively as possible, optimise pricing and keep the planning team informed of slow moving stock that needs to be actioned
* Support the Online Senior Trading Producer and work with the Planning team as well as the customer service and logistics in the development of the online outlet trading calendar and promotional plan
* Responsible for keeping up-to-date the online outlet trading calendar
* Update and manage the outlet product catalogue, categories and promotions, from launching product online, sourcing missing imagery and copy when required as well setting up promotions and merchandising the product in the correct categories
* Support in the development of new ideas for A/B tests
* Help implementing merchandise reporting and improve on trading KPIs (from visitor to basket) to ensure the EMEA outlet sites are trading effectively
* Monitor the inventory together with DTC Planning to understand outlet product flow per market and implement plans to ensure product launches in a timely manner and in line with retail outlets
* Liaise with the Full Price trading and Buying teams to ensure global product information is accurate and localised
* Manage categories from definition for that local market to ensuring the right products are within the right categories
* Research other similar brand outlets and ensure the site exceeds what customers would expect when researching products
* Run weekly and ad-hoc trading reporting
* Manage on-site searches weekly and monthly
* Implement SEO information on product and category level by working with the online marketing teams
* Active involvement in weekly, monthly reporting for the EMEA outlets websites
* Full responsibility for keeping promotional calendars up-to-date
* Work with customer service team to ensure customer feedback relating to issues and errors is updated on site.
Understanding the trading customer journey and getting the customer to the right information, from initial visit to basket is paramount for this role, as well as being on top of ecommerce commercial innovations that will improve the product and category experience and performance. You will conduct competition analysis and propose new ideas on how to improve the site via enhancements, analytics, testing and general improvements.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
* 2+ years eCommerce trading and merchandising experience ideally working for a branded product online retailer
* Sound working knowledge of SalesForce - this is a pre-requisite!
* Experience of working in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent analytical understanding and experience in using web analytics tool, (e Omniture, Google Analytics)
* Additional European languages (French, German) would also be beneficial
* Reliable, flexible and highly organized
* A team player with a hands-on attitude
