Our client, a ‘Big Four’ Financial Services Consultancy, is seeking Case Handlers to join a financial regulation project, focused on the review of customer claims, relating to retirement options.

This is a rapidly expanding, fast paced project, with the opportunity to utilise your previous case handling experience and develop technical knowledge of pensions and annuities.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a thorough investigation into customer cases; managing the process from start to finish, within set deadlines.
  • Liaise with customers and third parties.
  • Use various in-house systems.
  • Reach a fair outcome for all parties, in line with FCA guidelines.
  • Produce final response letters.
  • Calculate redress for successful cases.
  • Utilise technical knowledge to support junior colleagues.
  • Provide a clear audit trail and final report for each case.
  • Liaise with senior management.

Requirements:

  • Case handling experience within financial services or similar.
  • Technical knowledge of pensions and annuities products is highly advantageous.
  • Financial services qualifications are desirable.
  • Track record of meeting quality and productivity targets.
  • Technical working knowledge of the complaint handling process.
  • Proactive attitude to resolve cases in a timely manner.
  • Passion for customer service.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Investigation and problem solving skills.
  • IT and database proficiency.

This is a full time contract role until June 2020, based in Crawley. Working hours are Monday - Friday 09:00-17:30.

There are multiple intakes in January 2019.
