Customer Service Adviser / Northampton / £19 - £22k / Temp Ongoing

Your new company
Our client, based in Northampton, are looking for several Customer Service Advisers to resolve customer enquiries and to enhance the customer experience.

These roles will be Monday - Friday (early, mid and late shifts available).


Your new role

  • Taking ownership of, investigating and resolving customer issues
  • Contacting customers in order to obtain information to resolve their enquiries
  • Accurately updating customer account information, ensuring accuracy and integrity of data
  • Liaising with external industry bodies and third parties to ensure customer issues are resolved satisfactorily
  • Supporting the team and department in the delivery of team and company objectives, highlighting any issues to the appropriate team leader
  • Developing a sound understanding of the customer lifecycle including where your role and those of industry bodies fit into it
  • Adhere to company and regulatory principles, including industry Standards of Conduct, Data


What you'll need to succeed

  • Ability to build rapport with customers through professional telephone and written communication
  • Experience of thoroughly investigating queries and using initiative to make sound decisions
  • Enthusiastic and conscientious with influencing, negotiating and conflict resolution skills
  • A pragmatic and tenacious approach to making decisions and resolving queries
  • Experience of working in a targeted environment, prioritising workload and remaining proactive
  • IT literate with a keen eye for detail, a high level of accuracy and the ability to learn new systems and processes
