A prestigious international Law Firm is looking to hire a new Graduate Recruitment HR Advisor to join their London office, working across the recruitment and development of the firms potential and future Trainees.  Recruitment responsibilities will include assisting the Manager with overseeing the screening of applications for Training Contracts, Vacation Schemes, Open-Days and Campus Ambassadors, assisting the Manager with external screening provider relationships, ensuring targets are met, supporting the Manager by facilitating assessment days, briefing candidates and interviewers and help with the running of 'wash-up' meetings with Partners in order to agree interview decisions, conducting situational judgement interviews and assessing group exercises including the invigilating and marking of critical thinking tests.  Development duties will include liaising with the Trainee Development team on immigration matters affecting the future joiners and acting as a point of contact for queries, overseeing the organisation for the firm's Legal Practice course students and assisting with the organisation of and attending events for the current Trainee solicitors and future joiners, including the biannual two week Trainee solicitor induction, summer evening receptions and biannual Secondment Fairs, client secondment evenings, Practice Area Fairs and the biannual reception for newly qualified solicitors, delivering induction and seat planning, secondments and qualification presentations, assisting with the six-monthly Trainee qualification, helping with any employment, disciplinary or general HR matters pertaining to Trainee solicitors, as directed by the HR Manager for Trainees, dealing with high level queries from or regarding Trainees (for example, partner queries on performance, disciplinary or absence and Trainees experiencing issues with their working relationships, as directed by the HR Manager for Trainees), conducting seat planning meetings with Trainees to provide advice and guidance, conducting mid-seat and end-of-seat catch up meetings with Trainees and acting on any issues that arise from these and assisting the HR Adviser for Trainees with the seat planning process and communicating bespoke seat plans to trainees where required.   This firm is one of the most prestigious law firms in the world to work at, offer second to none benefits with standard working hours of 9:30 – 17:30.
