The role of the Lead Executive Assistant is to provide both organisational and administrative support to the the CIO of an international FMCG company. You will also line manage two other Executive Assistants in the team.

The client is a market-leading international FMCG company with a head office located in the City of London.

Description

The key responsibilities of a Lead Executive Assistant include but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide first class organisational and administrative support to the the CIO of IT
  • Being Line Manager to EA's in the team
  • Plan and manage the daily, weekly, monthly and annual schedules
  • Organise and co-ordinate the Group Heads direct reports' appraisals
  • Plan and manage complex travel arrangements, comprising all flights, itineraries/programmes and liaison with regions/ IT hubs /end markets throughout the world
  • Provide confidential administrative/secretarial services covering highly sensitive work

Profile

In order to be considered for the Lead Executive Assistant role the candidate needs to have the following:

  • Ability to organise, prioritise workload and demonstrate adaptability
  • First class organisational and administrative ability
  • Excellent secretarial skills
  • Excellent computer literacy
  • Excellent inter-personal skills - both verbal and written
  • Decision making skills
  • Sensitivity to diverse cultures
  • Sufficient appreciation of the business to recognise and understand priorities
  • Team leading and motivational ability
