A London based Law Firm, with offices worldwide are looking to recruit a Legal Insurance Litigation Secretary, in their Bristol office.

Purpose of the role: To provide a high level of service to the firm's internal and external clients through delivering professional secretarial and administrative support to an allocation of Associates/Partners.

Primary duties and responsibilities are:

Proactive diary management including time recording absences eg holiday, organising internal and external meetings, video and conference calls, lunches/dinners, paper preparation
Mailbox management including monitoring, drafting, answering, highlighting, prioritising
E-filing including searching, saving, maintaining rules, folder management
Travel and itinerary management including expenses
Assisting Lawyers with billing management and processing, including narrative checking and sending out the invoice to the client all in accordance with the service level agreement
Quality control of the outputs from other internal departments and specialist functions
(eg DPD, Reprographics, MI and data)
Supporting Lawyers with BD-related administration, including maintaining InterAction
Ad-hoc tasks

Essential qualities, skills, knowledge, behaviour and experience required:

Insurance market experience and legal knowledge an advantage
Strong time management and organisational skills
Excellent team player, self-motivated and enthusiastic with a proactive approach to the role ability to think on feet and solve problems independently
Calm and helpful under pressure, with the ability to multi-task and use own initiative
Ability to work to deadlines, deliver in an accurate and timely fashion, taking pride in delivering the best possible output
Well-developed client service skills with good verbal and written communication skills
Excellent attention to detail - spelling, accuracy, grammar, interpretation and presentation
Customer service training - this will be provided
At ease working in a fast-paced, pressured environment
Comfortable using numerous software packages - training will be given
