Our client, a prestigious financial services organisation based in the heart of the City, is looking for a Data Analyst with Financial Research Interactions Coordinating to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Based in beautiful offices in the City, this is a rare opportunity to join a very well-known and respected organisation. Within this role, you will coordinate the reporting of business intelligence in the form of financial research activities through meetings, events, calls, requests and readership to measure the level and quality of service provided to the organisations’ clients. You will provide precise reporting to clients within given timeframes and will be responsible for preparing business analytics to better manage and monetise the Research platform.
You will be working within a close-knit, friendly team in a company who really know how to look after their staff. Responsibilities of the role
- Organising activity records logged by analysts in the CRM tools
- Maintaining the reporting schedule and agreed templates for all clients
- Coordinating collation/review of data from UK & US Equities. Corporate and Fixed Income
- Assisting with projects to improve the analytics for Research and Sales
- Cross-referencing MIFID 2 client lists and contracts, and other forms of internal reporting
- Occasional front office engagement with clients
Person specification
- Previous experience of working with a CRM tool such as Salesforce or Dynamics is preferred
- Previous experience of working with a reporting portal such as OneAccess is preferred
- In-depth knowledge of Excel - including macros and building dashboards to monitor and visualize data is required. Familiarity with VBA is preferred
- An excellent problem solver; an ability to resolve issues and make judgment calls
- Comfortable in speaking with those in senior positions to seek explanations and approvals
