Join a fast growing and very exciting start as Office Manager/EA. An exceptionally well-funded start up here in the UK, with a team of 20 passionate people based in the offices in Farringdon. 

This is a newly created role as key support within the London office. The London team has a start-up feel, but the brand have global presence and have already been hugely successful in Asia. The team are hoping to recreate this success in the UK, meaning you would be joining the team at a crucial time and helping it grow from strength to strength. 

We’re looking for someone who can fit into a fast-paced environment, who loves multi-tasking, organising and getting things done right. You will be a key part of maintaining the culture and vibe within office.

The role will involve:

  • Ensuring the office works effectively, including welcoming and looking after visitors 
  • Ensuring all new starters are set up for success from day one and have an induction plan and welcome from the team
  • Organising samples on behalf of the Food development and Procurement team
  • Liaising with Brand ambassadors and sending them samples 
  • Booking transport and accommodation as required for the MD and wider team
  • Ensuring that all e-commerce orders are packed and sent out
  • Organising company events and development sessions
  • Implementing and maintaining office procedures
  • Establishing and maintaining the office standards – the right look and feel for the office and appropriate desk policy
  • Assisting the HR function by keeping personnel records up to date and arranging interviews
  • Keeping the Holidays tracker up to date and all holidays into shared calendars
  • Diary management for the UK MD
  • Preparing reports and presentations to support the MD

What we are looking for:

  • Ideally 2 years’ experience of working in a start-up or Small business environment in an administrative position
  • Knowledge of software packages
  • Degree desirable
  • Articulate, passionate and open to learning
  • A culture champion who has an eye for detail
  • Previous experience in a support role
  • Confidence, professionalism and fun outlook!
  • Strong communication skills including verbal and written
  • Interest in food
