A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Office Manager to join this global FMCG company based in the West End. Spread over three floors you will provide a safe, healthy, secure and efficient work environment for this corporate head office dealing with a variety of stakeholders in a positive manner. Reporting in to the Head of HR you will manage a team of 4 admin staff as well as taking ownership for the following:
- Ensuring the day to day running of the office and all facilities.
- Positively managing and developing a team of four people.
- Adherence to health and safety requirements, ensuring appropriate training of fire wardens and first aiders and maintaining emergency evacuation procedures.
- Be the first point of contact for the building management team communicating with them and other tenants on all building issues.
- Oversee 3rd party services including statutory testing, cleaning contractors and other suppliers.
- Manage a professional reception and switchboard managing meeting room and hot desk calendars ensuring that external and internal visitors and suppliers have a positive experience in the office.
- Effective communication of facilities, office management and safety issues to a planned and ad-hoc basis.
- Project manage desk and office relocations.
- Control and monitor costs, processing for payment supplier invoices, maintaining internal records and liaising with accounts team.
- Project managing internal party’s to include annual Christmas party.
This role will suit an experienced Office Manager who has a proven record managing a small team, is customer focused and will take ownership and pride of the environment, building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and implementing positive changes. You must have H&S and Risk Assessment experience as well exposure dealing with office/desk moves.
