EA Manager / Secretarial Manager for a major global Management Consultancy firm.
This role be responsible for liaising with Floor Co-ordinators and Secretarial staff across some of the practice areas of the firm and be able to determine the firm’s needs for delivery and user expectations of a quality support service.
Secretarial management responsibilities
The Secretarial Manager will be working closely with HR, Learning and Development, IT Training to ensure career development is encouraged and supported.
The ideal candidate will have previous managerial experience gained in a professional services industry. Typical Responsibilities will include:-
- Working closely with the Line Manager/HR to implement and drive change
- Determine and manage ratios, and flexible working requests
- Carrying out the full recruitment cycle from initiation to completion
- Continually monitor productivity and take necessary action to adapt and improve where necessary
- Assisting with appraisals, one-to-one and team meetings
- Acting as the mediator between the consultants and support staff
Managing the EA group
- Assist with overall capacity/headcount management
- Working with VP’s/Managers as required to agree EA allocations
- Reviewing the role of the PA and ensuring it meets the needs of the business
- Management of holidays
- EA performance/people issues
- Carrying out appraisals, pay reviews and bonus awards
- Liaising with HR to agree training for the group
- Recruit, lead, develop and motivate the PA team
- New hire induction as it relates to this group
