Assistant to Director

Pay rate for the temp: £17-22 per hour

You must have experience with Google Mail and all it's applications - this business does not use outlook

Duties & Responsibilities

The Assistant to Director is responsible for providing full, effective and efficient administrative and secretarial support to the Director and some diary support to other heads of Depts

This role will involve working closely with the Director to support them with extensive diary management, meeting preparation, minute taking, inbox management, event organisation, travel booking, other key tasks and picking up ad hoc work from time to time..

You will need to liaise with other assistants as well as stakeholders at all levels across the business as well as external stakeholders.

Job Requirements

Due to the nature of this role, it requires someone who is well organised, able to deal with conflicting deadlines, frequent changes and work at pace to ensure the Director has all the support they need and are able to rely on the assistant.

As well as being reactive, you will need to be proactive and be one step ahead to anticipate what may be in the future and planning the Directors time accordingly. There are a number of confidential aspects to this role so will require someone with discretion.

Required essential experience skills and qualifications

  • - Previous Assistant to or PA experience (diary & inbox management etc.)
  • - Strong organisational skills
  • - Able to manage own workload and deal with conflicting deadlines
  • - Proactive and able to use initiative
  • - Proven PC skills including Powerpoint, Excel, Google systems, Financial Systems
  • - Passion for PR and Communications environment
  • - Strong communication skills
