Accountant - Brentford

Based in a new and fabulous office in Brentford, Middlesex, this newly created role is aimed at a qualified accountant with considerable experience in both company and personal tax matters within a family office or for a UHNWI.

Salary:

Competitive salary up to circa £50,000 depending on experience

Working hours:

Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:30PM

Requirements for this Accountant role:

- A degree in accountancy or equivalent
- ACA, CA, ACCA, CTA qualified with hands on experience
- Proven experience working as an accountant, ideally within family offices and for HNWIs
- Demonstrable of meeting strict deadlines
- Highly committed and self-motivated and professional in your approach
- Attention to detail, accuracy and quality in all reporting is critical

Above all, the candidate must demonstrate integrity, trustworthiness and discretion at all times. An NDA clause will be included in the contract of employment.

Job description:

Day to day the accountant will oversee everything from cash management and book through to statutory reporting, management accounting, cash flow forecasting and analysis, corporate and personal tax returns and VAT reporting.

Knowledge of the different types of company structures in the UK and overseas, as well as experience of personal tax and non domicile matters will be a distinct advantage.

The role will be ideally suited to someone with previous family office experience, with experience of liaising with HMRC and contacts at the usual private banks.

The candidate must be proficient in MS Excel and accounting software packages.

Other key responsibilities include:

- Production of management accounts
- Full management of Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable
- Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns
- Annual audit
- Facilitation of investments across all asset classes
