Guest Experience Host
Salary: Up to £25,000 plus 10% bonus & benefits
Location: Spitalfields, London, E1
Our client creates beautiful, professional & flexible work spaces, that offer hotel-like hospitality and members’ club style service for people that know hard work needn’t be uncomfortable. Their stunning spaces are a mixture of co-working, serviced offices, fine hotels and hospitality with an added splash of design agency and architectural practice.
Team members are trained to provide highly professional support and build relationships with Residents based on integrity and mutual respect.
Due to exciting growth, our client is opening a new location in Spitalfields in January 2019! We are looking for individuals that have come from a hospitality, retail or co-working background for this position.
The role
The Guest Experience Host is responsible for all aspects related to Front Desk operations and the experience of House Residents. You will go out of your way to resolve any operational challenges that our Residents may encounter. Our Concierge team is responsive to the needs of Residents, but also pre-emptive, anticipating Residents’ needs before they even arise.
Front Desk Operations
- Welcome visitors by greeting them in person or on the phone answering or referring enquiries.
- Handle telephone calls, mails, emails and requests made in person.
- Provide detailed information and assistance regarding any concierge services required.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of work tasks on Front of House daily reports and weekly meetings to ensure all information is handed over and followed up efficiently.
- Assist with deliveries and supplies.
- Assist the Events Team with planning, setting up and looking after Residents and external guests.
- Assist the Manager with operational and administrative tasks.
- Pull weekly report on Residents activity and keep informational databases updated and current at all times.
Building Operations & Maintenance
- Assist the Manager with building operations and maintenance to ensure highest level of Residence experience.
- Conduct “building wellness” walkthroughs and actively communicate any issues to management.
- Raise tickets via the IT Helpdesk support platform to communicate any IT issues.
- Maintain security by following health and safety procedure in place.
Residents & Culture
- Develop and maintain interpersonal relationships with colleagues and Residents.
- Create a welcoming and proactive environment for our Residents.
- Assist Residents with obtaining services related to their office/desk space, in accordance with the lease
- Complete the on-boarding process by setting up Residents on the system and preparing access cards and locker allocation
- Promote actively Residents benefits and partnerships.
- Be acquainted with all Residents and regular visitors.
- Manage all Resident inquiries, using the members portal.
- Announce visitors to Residents & management.
- Ensure that all complaints are handled effectively and efficiently.
Sales
- Greet and accommodate visitors who come in for viewings and tours.
- Be confident and knowledgeable about availability in your space.
- Gather information from Residents about their company’s growth and communicate to the Manager to anticipate possible desk/office move.
- Assess and communicate to the Sales Co-ordinator external enquiries with the relevant information.
- Assess and communicate to the Manager internal sales enquiries.
- Assist the Sales team and the Manager with viewings and tours.
About you
- Be impeccable in your presentation of self as dressing according to the company standards.
- Attend meetings and trainings required by the Operations Team.
- Respond to general enquiries for information about the company.
- Experience within a customer service role.
- Strong verbal and writing communication skills
- Good organisation skills and dedication to completing projects in a timely manner
- Detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Very well organised & excellent time-keeping
- Pleasant phone manner
- Professional integrity, trustworthy and great attention to detail
