Legal Assistant
Salary: Up to £40,000 plus benefits
Location: London, W4
Do you have a passion for Film and want to join an International Film and Entertainment organisation to provide full administrative support to the International Business Affairs and Legal team in London?
It’s a role that would suit someone who is comfortable working with data and legal terms because you will be supporting the internal legal team that is currently a team of 10.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Coordinating signature of legal agreements and other documents
- Arranging for signature of corporate documents (including annual accounts) by Board Directors and liaising with external company secretaries and auditors in various territories
- Legal budget inputting and monitoring; dealing with system and invoice queries from law firms
- Working with the Tax team to obtain UK tax certificates from HMRC
- Working with outside notaries to arrange for legalisation and apostile of documents as needed for a range of territories
- Managing the requirements of the Solicitors’ Regulation Authority
- Handling annual registration renewals with Information Commissioner's Office
- Filing and archiving of legal agreements and other related
- Arranging travel, diary management and preparation of expense claims
- Arranging meetings and video calls, including logistics
- Raising POs for invoices and tracking outstanding payments, working with Finance team as needed
- Handling correspondence received in London office and forwarding to relevant contacts
- Liaising with wide range of internal departments and external service providers
If you have worked as a Legal PA/Legal Administrator or a Paralegal and are looking to make a change of direction in your career your experience would be very well suited to this role.

- Excellent time management skills with the ability to take responsibility for own workload and meeting tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on concise and accurate comprehension, and written skills
- Capable of factual analysis and identifying relevant issues
- Ability to absorb knowledge fast, and apply it in real time
- Ability to work independently, as well as, in a team orientated environment
- High level of initiative and self-directed in own development
- Highly proficient IT skills
Essential:
- Demonstrated experience working effectively in a diverse environment
- Previous experience working within a legal and business affairs department
- Demonstrated all round office administration skills
- Excellent academic results to degree level
Desirable:
- Previous experience working for an international company
