A leading City based investment bank requires an experienced L&D Administrator to to cover a maternity leave until September 2019. Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting branch wide L&D activities. Acting as an integral team player, proactively working on new initiatives and supporting day to day activities.
  • Assisting on all L&D actions for the senior manager and implementing in accordance with the new regulatory requirements
  • Responding to departmental requests/head office requests for ad-hoc MI
  • Providing eLearning reports
  • Producing course evaluation reports to monitor success factors for each workshop, programme and/or event - distributing as appropriate
  • Managing course bookings for on-site training
  • Creating and maintaining logistical elements of the annual in-house training calendar
  • Managing the overall regulatory eLearning course schedule and service - acting as the first point of contact for technical issues and escalating as necessary
  • Providing logistical support to external suppliers before, during and post their delivery onsite for intended audiences
  • Research in finding new training providers
  • Supporting the mid-year and end-of-year review meetings for all permanent employee population
  • Working with Communications to ensure key messages are delivered and the learning profile is maintained across the branch
  • Maintain the L&D Intranet with relevant information
  • Drafting training (vendor) agreements - liaising directly with vendor prior to onsite delivery

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience within a learning and development function within a large corporate environment is essential
  • Previous experience of working within financial services, ideally investment banking
  • Must have strong Excel Skills - ability to manipulate and analyse data is essential, as well as strong PowerPoint skills
  • Graduate calibre
  • Experience of working in the regulatory training field
