Claims Handler at Top Law Firm to £25,000

Leading law firm is looking to hire an extra Claims Handler/Legal Executive in their Insurance Group acting for the predominantly well-established household and commercial property insurers in the market.  The team handle work including a variety of claims arising out of property damage and you will have the opportunity to run a property claim from first instruction, through the pre-action stage and into proceedings when necessary, an understanding with Civil Procedure Rules is necessary.  Duties will include management of a large caseload of Property Insurance claims, delivering high quality and timely output to clients, ensuring high levels of client service and alignment with agreed working practices and client service level agreements, working to develop an environment of constant improvement: enthusiastically sharing with and helping others; and taking responsibility for aspects of team development, such as intranet pages, training and induction, process improvement etc, capturing and collating required Management Information in accordance with agreed practice for clients, contributing to the development and improvement of the team's service, support, processes and procedures, demonstrating the values and behaviours for which the team is known and keep it client-focused and you will have the opportunity to attend client events and/or travel, principally to London.  Previous similar Paralegal, Claims Handling or Legal Executive experience is essential, litigation is a must and any insurance experience would be a bonus.  Candidates need to either have at least a Law Degree or Legal Executive qualifications.  Standard hours are 9:30am to 5:30pm.  Office is based in Bristol.
