A successful law firm with an increasing global presence is looking for a French speaking Legal Secretary to provide a wide range of secretarial and legal administrative support to a small group of personable senior partners in their fabulous, boutiquey London office which boasts wonderful City views!

The firm has seen strong and steady growth globally, making this a great time to join their steady London team! Despite their London office being a small setup, the office and volume of work is incredibly busy, therefore candidates must be happy to work in a small, busy legal office environment. Your responsibilities will include managing complex diaries and schedules across multiple time zones; organising business travel itineraries and visas; inbox management; drafting and typing up legal documentation; carrying out translation work in English and French; meeting and greeting clients; booking meeting rooms; scheduling group committee meetings and video conferences; preparing presentations and other meeting materials; filing and archiving whilst managing priorities and ensuring the necessary follow-ups.

The ideal French speaking Legal Personal Assistant must be quick-thinking, resourceful, with a strong work ethos at all times whilst being adaptable and flexible to the ever-changing schedules within the office and being able to manage multiple projects and deadlines at the same time. Perfect fluency in written and spoken French and English is essential for this role; combined with proven legal experience or experience working as a legal secretary in small, international setups. The firm offers a generous salary and benefit package along with a good work/life balance with occasional overtime being required.

Profile

  • Fluent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English
  • A proven track record of working within a legal environment as a PA/ EA /personal assistant/ executive assistant / Team PA / team assistant / team secretary / legal PA/ legal Secretary
  • Outstanding organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Adaptable, approachable, committed, discreet and flexible
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent numerical and Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent typing skills with a typing speed around 60 wpm
  • Available to interview and commence employment immediately
