Reporting to the new Director of Communications and working closely with the Promotions and Events team, this is a busy role with City based organisation that has a wide range of charitable and commercial business interests.  Initially offered as a one year contract, there is a good possibility of it becoming permanent. 

Your duties will include:

  • social media content development and execution
  • design of monthly newsletters
  • coordinate and publish up-to-date content on websites
  • create and send e-invites for all Company events
  • create videos and podcasts for website and media channels
  • write and publish blogs stories
  • add images and press releases to the press area
  • photoshopping/editing of images for print production
  • build and set-up surveys for the Company’s research project
  • admin support to the Comms & Marketing Committee
  • generally be helpful!

High energy and enthusiasm are required along with a strong understanding of social media trends and techniques. At least two year’s relevant experience is required.

Key skills needed:

  • Web Editing - preferably with Wordpress and/or Django
  • Email Marketing – previous use of Mailchimp helpful
  • Adobe Suite – InDesign, Photoshop and Premier Pro preferred
  • MS Office – good/advanced level
  • iZettle – admin experience useful
  • Salesforce CRM and Survey Monkey – experience useful.
