My client, a world renowned Construction company based in the heart of the City, are looking for a Bid Writer who has gained a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position, to successfully administrate tender opportunities. The candidate will be able to take content from various sources and turn into compelling documents. Excellent written English essential. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful team within a progressive company.

The Role
Pre-qualification responses
- Analyse PQQ deliverables/request
- Work with bid managers, directors or project managers to assign actions for technical responses
- Complete standard information from either proposals library or working with other departments
- Where possible support in writing content for technical authors – for example bullet point an answer structure
- Support in writing document content as required – for example CV intros
- Respond to questionnaire in appropriate format – client’s template, online portal, Word or Indesign template etc
- Work with proposal team designers on key submissions to develop covers, dividers and graphics to accompany submission
- Ensure conformity with brand
- Ensure dispatch prior to deadline
- Prepare presentations for interviews where necessary
- When successful, transfer knowledge into proposal process
- Manage, review and refresh proposals files and databases
- Capture information on all projects, personnel and other topics such as health and safety, quality and sustainability in a concise, readable format
- Liaise regularly with a wide section of people across the group for best practice answers
- Support others in proposals group at critical deadlines
The Person
- Educated to A-Level or equivalent
- Minimum of two years PQQ experience
- Will need to demonstrate a good level of written English
- Pleasant and confident interpersonal manner
- Excellent relationship building skills
- Good research, writing and editing skills
- Above-average IT-literacy, with excellent MS Word and Excel skills
- Able to bring innovation to content, presentation and information management
- Beneficial to have experience of using Adobe Indesign, however training will be provided
