Our client is an international stockbroker and advisory based close to Bank tube station. They are looking for a full-time DTP Operator to join their Private Equity team working on a permanent basis between the hours of either 07.00-16.00 or 10.00-19.00. They are offering a very generous salary of up to £43,000 - dependent on skills and experience. The company’s ethos is to encourage an open and positive atmosphere within the teams and to develop close working relationships throughout – so it is a great atmosphere within a fantastic working environment.
They currently have a team of 3 DTP Operators and Editors who provide support to 37 analysts across a number of sector teams – editing, formatting and publishing research documents. They are a friendly and close-knit team who are looking for a talented DTP Operator to join them who can provide a first-class service to the team and create corporate documentation within their branding and guidelines.
Key responsibilities
- Formatting research documents to the house style using bespoke publishing software
- Editing research documents
- Providing technical support to analysts
- Maintaining databases
- Providing general administrative and office support.
Candidate requirements
- Experience of working in an Equity Research department
- Understanding of financial services and regulatory environment
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat software
- Knowledge of third-party channels (Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters, etc) is advantageous
- High level of literacy and numeracy with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage own time and workload effectively
- Committed to quality and accuracy
