A prestigious US Law Firm is looking to hire a new International Risk Management Supervisor to join the London office, providing new business intake and conflicts services to the firm and directly oversees.  Responsibilities will include working closely with the Head of Compliance, International and leaders from the Business Intake and Conflicts Department, to ensure the activities of the international Risk Management specialists align with the Firm’s risk management policies and goals, utilize industry best practices, and assist the Firm Attorneys in compliance with the Firm’s conduct of business rules and protocols, working closely with the senior leaders and other supervisors in the Conflicts Department to develop conflict of interest search training programs for the international Risk Management specialists, coordinating and delivering risk management training programs for staff, including quality assurance protocols, reviewing complicated and sensitive business intake customer support issues and escalating appropriately for resolution, working closely with the Head of Compliance, International to ensure prompt and accurate responses to KYC and conflict question, working closely with the leaders from the Business Intake and Conflicts Department to ensure coordination of systems, workflows and outcomes across the Firm’s business, developing strong working relationships with attorneys, legal support staff and staff in the international offices, supervise and participate in the research associated with the AML/KYC process, including the preparation of approval submissions for the Head of Compliance, preparation of KYC referral letters for local counsel, review of applications for money to be held on client account to determine KYC requirements, development of KYC profiles for major PE fund clients, assist attorneys and staff in the initiation of potential new business requests and modifications to existing clients and matters, through the Firm’s automated business intake system, consult with attorneys and Business Intake and Conflicts, as necessary, to obtain and provide information and guidance on issues arising during conflict searches and analysis, assist attorneys and staff in the identification, clearance and resolution of conflicts of interest, supervise and participate in the review and conflict clearance of incoming lawyers and other legal personnel and staff, coordinate the assignment of AML/KYC, new business, and conflicts requests among the members of the international team and monitor for accuracy and timely completion, coordinate closely with the Business Intake and Conflicts supervisors and senior leaders to ensure consistent work product and application of all policies, processes and technology.  Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years related experience ideally within a US Law Firm, candidates need to have strong experience within KYC/AML and Risk Management along with strong written, oral and communication skills. Salary is £60-80,000 depending on experience.
