We are currently working closely with our Client to recruit a talented Tax Team Secretary.

Who will you be working for?

Our Client is a well known and established accountancy firm.

What will you be doing?

The Tax Team Secretary will assist in ensuring that the tax team runs efficiently and smoothly by ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Digital Dictation Transcripts and Copy Typing
• Administering Tax Fee Protection Insurance
• Helping reformat word documents for other team members
• Producing billing schedules and draft bills in client database
• Chasing clients for documents
• Email correspondence internally and externally
• Arranging meetings internally and externally
• Data entry on excel
• Completion of various tax forms and submission to HMRC
• Chaser phone calls to HMRC
• Scanning documents into database
• Updating the client database as and when necessary
• Management of old files - archiving and recalling
• Letters of engagement and associated entry onto client database
• Timesheet submission
• Other ad hoc duties as required

About you.

• Educated ideally to a-level or equivalent.
• IT literacy - Microsoft Office
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
• Technology savvy and with experience of using databases.
• Strong attention to detail.
• A proactive attitude and ability to hit the ground running.

What's in it for you?

This is a permanent position working 9am-5pm Mon-Fri. The salary applicable is up to £25,000pa.
